Click here to read the full story CSM graduate Zoe Catherine Kendall’s debut collections Precious Creatures and Rough Cut, already featured on Vogue.com and Dazed and Confused Magazine, combine a gothic, surreal aesthetic with a luxury hand-made quality. The mini-sculptures are inspired by little creatures such as twisting worms and are set with glass eyes or rough, uncut gems including sapphire and emerald. Both collections are made in fine silver and are designed for men and women. With many one-off pieces alongside limited runs, Kendall deliberately sets out to challenge accepted ideas of what jewellery can be, creating new concepts of desirability and exclusivity for the wearer.
