Ute Decker hand-crafts individual and limited edition wearable sculptural pieces. No two creations are exactly the same either in shape, texture or finish.

For Ute each object carries meaning beyond its functional use. Her shapes resonate an essentialism found in organic forms as well as in modern architecture: nothing is without meaning, nothing is just decorative. As an artist-maker who cares deeply about every aspect of her craft including the materials she uses, Ute is engaged in the campaign for responsible jewellery, striving to apply the most sustainable studio practices and using recycled silver wherever possible.
