Kathryn Marchbank 5 St Cross Street , www.myspace.com/everygirlsenvy The figure in dance and light are always my inspiration, the shapes of break dancers in the New York Subway and those dashing across the stage in Moses Pendleton’s ‘Momix’ dance production. The chevron pattern encourages movement across the forms with colour tones to embrace the qualities of how colour recedes and reflects, presenting pulses of movement. I wanted to capture the spotlights and shadows of a club for the breakers and people like us to add to their own outfits when we go out dancing. Materials: Sterling silver, oxidised. Perspex. Enamel Techniques/processes used: Computer Aided Design. Laser cutting with surface decoration, drilling, soldering and painting.
